RS Offering New Team

Redeemer's Song Ministries is now offering a new ministry team called....Redeemer's Song TEAM. Creative, huh? Redeemer's Song TEAM is a small, select group of individuals interested in learning more about video film, video editing, and creative story-telling.

Redeemer's Song TEAM will meet weekly for an hour or two at Access Television studios. We will develop skills in the areas of script-writing, story-boarding, and producing. We will film, edit, and premiere completed works on Access Television, Fergus Falls' local stations.

Completed works should display a strong sense of Christian values, though is not limited to strictly religious content.

Open To: Grades 9 - 12, College
Cost: Student Rate $25 Access Television membership (good for one year)

Redeemer's Song TEAM is limited to 6 members, so act quickly. TEAM members may also participate in the film project He Leadeth Me (Redeemer's Song Christ Family Film Productions) if needed.

Email redeemerssongministries@gmail.com for more information!

Album An Inspiration

Redeemer's Song has done something unique for a number of years when it comes to our Christmas productions. Maybe some people call it the lazy way of doing things. I like to call it "using the fruits of those gifted with so many talents to further their and our message that's been given to us to share!". How's that for a fancy way around not creating our original music for our shows?

But in all seriousness, a number of our productions have been inspired by some wonderful Christmas music. This year's production, Hope for Israel, was originally written for the 2003-2004 Redeemer's Song season and will be used again this year to share and celebrate the message of Jesus' birth. Hope for Israel is actually based on a song written by Michael W. Smith and recorded on his album Christmastime. The original song is actually called Hope of Israel, but our message takes this piece further and focuses the plot of our script on the hope Israel had for a savior. And oh how we celebrate the fact that He's been given to us!!

Three Weeks A New Season!

Thank you to all who participated in the RS informational meeting this last Sunday! We viewed a few previous RS productions, enjoyed refreshments and fellowship, and talked about our upcoming Christmas show Hope for Israel!

Sometimes it's difficult to imagine that a group closed for a handful of years can have the same spirit as it once had when it thrived with 30+ members! But yesterday, during our informational meeting, I sensed that same spirit return and I knew that even though the faces are different, the same Holy Spirit thrives in his ministry! May the Lord bless this upcoming year with memories, ministry, and a clear message of how he loves YOU and wants you to share that with the world!

Before You Know It!

Before you know it, Christmas will be here! And with the holiday comes the all-important Christmas story!

Redeemer's Song Ministries' Senior & Junior High theatre programs will be producing the Christmas production Hope for Israel the first weekend in December of this year. Inspired by Michael W. Smith's album Christmastime, Hope for Israel tells the Christmas story from the perspective of the daughter of the innkeeper in Bethlehem who owns the stable Jesus is born in. The second act is a celebration of the Christmas story, told in the setting of the 1940s WWII era. Hope for Israel boasts a large cast, beautiful music & choreography, and a life-changing story!

For cast information, email redeemerssongministries@gmail.com!
