Album An Inspiration

Redeemer's Song has done something unique for a number of years when it comes to our Christmas productions. Maybe some people call it the lazy way of doing things. I like to call it "using the fruits of those gifted with so many talents to further their and our message that's been given to us to share!". How's that for a fancy way around not creating our original music for our shows?

But in all seriousness, a number of our productions have been inspired by some wonderful Christmas music. This year's production, Hope for Israel, was originally written for the 2003-2004 Redeemer's Song season and will be used again this year to share and celebrate the message of Jesus' birth. Hope for Israel is actually based on a song written by Michael W. Smith and recorded on his album Christmastime. The original song is actually called Hope of Israel, but our message takes this piece further and focuses the plot of our script on the hope Israel had for a savior. And oh how we celebrate the fact that He's been given to us!!
